“It’s amazing to me how many people think that voting to have the government give poor people money is compassion. Helping poor and suffering people yourself is compassion. Voting for our government to use guns to give people money to help poor and suffering people is immoral, self-righteous, bullying and laziness! People need to be fed, medicated, educated, clothed and sheltered. If we’re compassionate, we’ll help them but, you get no moral credit for forcing other people to do what you think is right. There is great joy in helping people but, no joy in doing it at gunpoint!”

Just curious, I wonder how many people who are demanding their leaders help all these “refugees” a.k.a. “illegal aliens” at taxpayer expense have actually done anything to help these people?
If you answered NONE! Congratulations, go to the head of the class.
“Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.” (Matthew 6:1-4 ESV)
